HUMAN EVOLUTION IS ONGOING

Humanity is evolving. As we become more conscious and gain wisdom through our experiences, we are understanding the greater plan for ourselves and society. There are four kinds of people in the world today, from those who are least awakened and aware to those who are very aware and are manifesting their Divine Plan.

The Unawakened: Most people are unawakened. They are unconsciously gaining experience, and they are engrossed with dealing with results they are experiencing in their everyday lives. They live in poverty, illiteracy, hunger, and distress. They lack jobs and cultural amenities.

Their minds are not highly developed, and ideas do not impact on their thinking very much. They can easily be influenced and swept into group action by emotional leaders. Fear is what they understand the most. What propels them into action are the desire for revenge, the longing for physical possessions, and a craving to be superior to other people.

Beginning to Awaken: This is the average person. In most societies, they make up the middle class. They have begun to use their minds. They are educated and they can read and discuss topics. They can debate and take sides according to how they reason out a particular issue. They see things from a partisan point of view. Sometimes they are so determined that they are right, they will fight for a cause. Their leaders want recognition and these people will follow their leaders in a just cause.

They are beginning to be aware of their motives, why they do things. They think this through and make the best of their circumstances, many times disciplining themselves to rise out of their circumstances to create a better life. They want peace, stable economic conditions, and an orderly world so they can count on things being systematic and constant.

The Thinkers of the World: These people realize they have a need to grow, to gain in intelligence and education. They are becoming aware that they are here to learn some lessons. These lessons help them reach practical and material goals, develop sensitivity to others, and assist them in acquiring capacities and understandings they did not have before.

Using the Meditations of Light for 20 minutes a day will have many positive effects on your life. You can meditate to the one you like most every day, meditate to different ones in a series, or rotate among various meditations in several series. Let your Higher Self, that still small voice within you, lead you to the best meditation practice you can create for yourself.

They understand ideas, and they turn these into ideals. These are the leaders in every department of life - the religious leaders, politicians, educators, scientists, skilled workers, and artists. They work with the ideas that promote the gain of all of humanity. Their mission is to speak, write, and act in order to educate the public. They influence world affairs because their ideas penetrate down through the upper and middle classes and finally reach the ears of the more advanced of the unawakened majority. They teach that it is better to live your life so you do no damage to others. Everyone’s rights are recognized, and everyone is encouraged to develop to their fullest potential. They understand that service to humanity is one of the highest gifts they can give to the world.

On the Spiritual Path: Although they are fewer in number, their influence of this group is increasing. They understand the growth of their own souls and the purpose of existence. They are concerned with purifying themselves as well as being of service to the Divine Plan for humanity. They are beginning to form a new social order in the world. They know that all people are divine, and they practice good human relations with other people in their lives. The soul is in charge of the personality. The personality receives impressions from the soul and carries out the soul’s mission in the material world.

They understand the power of groups and the work that groups can accomplish. They seek to serve in a group in order for that group to be stronger in incorporating their Divine Plan into the betterment of the world. They are guided by their higher purpose and desires. They can influence and guide others, and sometimes they become the center of an organization.

Which Type are You?: Which group do you identify with most? What about your family and friends? Knowing which groups you and the people closest to you are in will help you grow to the next level and assist you in helping other people in your sphere of influence to develop also.
